Happy 9^th Anniversary, PALMARS!

On Friday, 08 July 2011, it’s the 9^th anniversary of PALMARS. This year, PALMARS shared the moment of happiness with the orphans at Panti Asuhan Muhammadiyah Kenjeran Surabaya. In the afternoon, the Director, the Management and the Staff at Head Office, Surabaya, visited the orphanage located at Tambak Wedi Baru 77 Surabaya.

We received a warm welcome from the orphanage’s management. Around 30 orphans gathered in the room. The Director of PALMARS, Mr. R. Bargowo, gave a short speech to explain the purposes of our visit. He explained that the visit was not only a celebration of our 8^th anniversary but also the Company’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

After that, the orphanage’s management representative, Mr. Soenardi, gave such detailed description of the orphanage. We were then entertained by a couple of wonderful performances from the orphans: a Holy Quran reading and a poetry reading.

In the end of the performances, PALMARS gave a donation to help financing their daily activities. And the session was finally concluded by a prayer.

Then, it was the time to enjoy the meal !  We had lunch together with the orphans before going back to the office. What a birthday!

Selamat Ulang Tahun ke-9, PALMARS!

Pada hari Jumat, 08 Juli 2011, PALMARS merayakan Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) yang ke-9. Tahun ini, PALMARS berbagi kebahagian dengan Panti Asuhan Muhammadiyah Kenjeran Surabaya. Pada siang harinya, Direktur, Manajemen dan para Staf Kantor Pusat Surabaya melakukan kunjungan ke panti asuhan yang terletak di Jalan Tambak Wedi Baru 77 Surabaya.

Kami disambut dengan hangat oleh para pengurus panti asuhan. Sekitar 30 anak-anak yatim piatu berkumpul di ruangan. Direktur PALMARS, Bpk. R. Bargowo memberikan sambutan singkat untuk menjelaskan tujuan kunjungan kami. Beliau menyampaikan bahwa kunjungan kami tidak hanya untuk merayakan ulang tahun yang ke-8 tetapi juga sebagai wujud komitmen Perusahaan terhadap Tanggung Jawab Sosial Perusahaan.

Setelah itu, perwakilan pengurus panti asuhan , Bpk. Soenardi, memberikan gambaran detail mengenai panti asuhan. Kami kemudian dihibur oleh dua penampilan dari anak-anak yatim piatu: Pembacaan Kitab Suci Al Quran dan Pembacaan Puisi. Pada akhir pertunjukan, PALMARS menyerahkan donasi untuk membantu pembiayaan keseharian panti asuhan. Keseluruhan rangkain acara akhirnya ditutup dengan doa.

Lalu, sekarang saatnya untuk menikmati makan siang!  Kami makan siang bersama anak-anak yatim piatu sebelum kembali ke kantor. Sungguh merupakan pesta ulang tahun yang tak terlupakan
